A Recommended Book For Aspiring Fashion Industry Professionals

I purchased my copy of this book at the California Mart in downtown LA, but it occasionally can be found for sale on eBay. In my opinion, this book is well worth its cover price if you want a job in the fashion industry. It clearly teaches you how to do garment industry specs, with step-by-step instructions as well as example spec sheets for all different kinds of garments. Includes detailed information about the tools you need, the spec sheet, the lead sheet, the sketch and more. It includes a variety of actual examples from various garment manufacturers, so you get a realistic idea of what to expect in the “real world”. I found it to be straightforward and easy to understand. 165 pages. Black and white illustrations.
